Follow these 2 simple steps to install the WebDAV Extension:
- Install and activate the Easy Migrator Plugin from the Plugins section of your WordPress Dashboard.
- Upload and activate the extension we sent you via email in the Plugins section of your WordPress Dashboard.
Step 1: Install the Free Easy Migrator Plugin
(Skip this step if you already have the plugin installed)
Open your WordPress admin page in a Google Chrome browser (yourwebsiteurl.com/wp-admin).
Log in using your username and password.
Go to the Plugins menu.
Click Add New.
In the search bar, type “Easy Migrator” and press Enter.
Click “Install Now” next to the Easy Migrator plugin.
Once installed, click “Activate”.
You’ll see a confirmation message: “Plugin activated.” The plugin will now appear in your plugins list.
Step 2: Install the Easy Migrator WebDAV Extension
Download the WebDAV extension from the link provided in your purchase confirmation email.
In your WordPress admin area, go to Plugins → Add New.
Click “Upload Plugin”.
Click “Choose File” and locate the downloaded .zip file (e.g., easy-migrator-webdav-extension.zip).
Select the file and click “Open”.
Click “Install Now”.
Once installed, click “Activate Plugin”.
You’ll see a confirmation message: “Plugin activated.” The extension will now appear in your plugins list.
Congratulations! You’ve successfully installed the WebDAV extension and can now migrate and back up your website using WebDAV.
