The pCloud Extension enhances the functionality of the Easy Migrator plugin by connecting it directly to your pCloud account. This integration allows you to seamlessly import and export your website—or network of sites—between your pCloud storage and your WordPress site.
This extension requires the Easy Migrator plugin to be installed and activated in order to function properly.
Once installed and activated, the pCloud Extension settings will appear in the Easy Migrator plugin’s dropdown menu.

1. pCloud Extension Settings
After installing and activating the extension, the pCloud settings page will be available in the Easy Migrator plugin’s menu:
Clicking on this option will take you to the settings page. To use the extension, you must first connect your pCloud account by entering your login credentials:
Once logged in, you can configure your backup preferences:
- Automated Backups: Choose how often backups are performed: “Every hour,” “Every day,” “Every week,” or “Every month.”
- Notifications: Enter an email address to receive backup completion alerts.
- Backup Folder: By default, a folder named
[your-wordpress-site-name]-wordpressis created in your pCloud account. You can also specify a custom folder. - Backup Retention: Set how many backups to keep in pCloud, and manage the total backup size stored on your server to save space.
Click the “Update” button to save your settings.
The Transfer setting allows you to optimize upload and download speeds when migrating sites, especially useful when switching from a slow to a fast internet connection.
2. Export Using pCloud Extension
To begin exporting, select Export from the Easy Migrator menu:
On the Export page, you can configure several backup settings:
- Find and Replace: Replace specific text in your backup (use with caution, as this may affect site access).
- Exclude: Skip spam comments, themes, inactive plugins, and cache.
- Password Protection: Secure your backup with a password. Remember to store it safely.
After configuring your export, select Export To > pCloud from the dropdown:
The export process will begin. Once completed, you’ll see a success message:
Your backup will be saved in the [your-wordpress-site-name]-wordpress folder within your pCloud account. All archives created with Easy Migrator will be stored there.
3. Import Using pCloud Extension
To import a backup, select Import from the Easy Migrator menu:
A new “Import Site” window will appear. Choose pCloud from the dropdown:
You’ll see a file browser showing your pCloud files and folders. Select the backup you want to import and click Import:
A warning will notify you that the import will overwrite your existing database, media, plugins, and themes. This is your last chance to cancel—click Proceed to continue.
Once the import is complete, you’ll see a success confirmation.
